Description

This is a hybrid online course that combines the completion of asynchronous online course modules and participation in live, online sessions facilitated by a Keys to Literacy trainer. The live sessions provide a collaborative opportunity to debrief activities completed during online modules, share ideas for connecting course content to classroom instruction, and have the facilitator answer questions and clarify course content.

The online course takes approximately 36 hours to complete, and you must participate in 12 hours of additional, live-online facilitated meetings with a Keys to Literacy trainer.

Accountable Reading and Writing Assignments: In order to be eligible for IDA/CERI certification, you must also complete required readings and writing assignments that take approximately 10 hours to complete.

After completing the course and all requirements, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Keys to Literacy that you use to show IDA that you have completed this course. You will then have to apply to IDA to receive CERI certification You will also have to pass IDA's KPEERI exam.

If you have questions about CERI certification or the KPEERI exam, contact IDA.
